My ceramic work is inspired in part by ancient Mesopotamian excavations, the films of Nacer Kemir,
and Japanese potter Kanjiro Kawai’s love for the dignity of simplicity.
Creating moments of stillness for the beholder, these objects will naturally find their use, sitting on a shelf,
holding a budding flower, or simply casting shadows.
